SVM Trading Questions

I am attempting to use the Encog SVM with NinjaTrader. I am normalizing the data before training and denormalizing before sending back to NinjaTrader. I am running into a couple of issues/questions.

1) With SVM is the predict window limited to 1 bar or can be many?

2) After I train SVM on a set of data from NinjaTrader, when I load the prediction on the chart the area after the training data is a straight horizontal line. Why would this be and any tips for fixing?
