What are particles? They are 2D effects that are used for many purposes. They allow jewelry to sparkle, create explosions, allow smoke from chimneys, and many other effects. However, to create particles you must create a complex list of parameters. Particles can be difficult in Second Life.

I've created a simple utility that makes particle script creation easier. Using "Encog's Particle Machine" you can input parameters for your particle on my website. If you are logged into the Second Life world, at the same time, you can even view your particle effect. Don't like it? Just change a few parameters and run it again. Once you have a particle effect that you like, the web site automatically generates a script that you can copy/paste into any Second Life object.

This utility works with a Second Life location that allows you to view your particles. If you do not have a Second Life account, you will not be able to view particle effects. You can access the particle machine from the following link:
