If you purchased a motherboard that includes a sound card, or you simply do not wish to install a sound card, you can skip this section.

There are a variety of different sound cards to choose from. Most sound cards are currently PCI, but you will surly see PCI Express soundcards become more common. Figure 5.8 shows a PCI sound card.
