Now I will show you how to install a video card into your system. The video card that I will be installing has a VGA, S-Video and DVI outputs. This allows it to be plugged into just about any type of display, or even television. Figure 5.4 shows this video card.

Next we will install the video card onto the motherboard. The card that I am using is PCI-Express. You can see my PCI-Express slot in Figure 5.5.

Slide the card into the PCI express slot. Make sure you have a firm fit. Figure 5.6 shows the video card attached to the motherboard.

You can see the video card from the outside of the case as well. The outside ports are where you will connect your video card. Figure 5.7 shows the video card from the outside. Figure 5.7 shows the video card from the outside.

Next we will install the sound card.
