Before you can learn to program bots you must understand the structure of the HTTP protocol. The HTTP protocol is the underlying Internet protocol that allows web servers and web browsers to communicate. This chapter shows two recipes that interact with HTTP at the lowest level that C# allows-- by directly using sockets.
